Organic piggery farm will exist to ensure food security and healthy nutrition by rearing pigs organically using Indigenous Microoranisms (IMO) technology to provide pork with high content of healthy fats (unsaturated fatty acids) to consumers. Unlike other conventional methods of rearing pigs, IMO technology has the ability to produce pigs with less carcass back-fat thickness but high lean meat composition and, reduces the level of unhealthy fats (Saturated fats) content in pork by 88.9% which does not pose any health threat of developing cardiovascular diseases to the pork consumers. Besides reducing the level of unhealthy fats in pork (Saturated fats) to a negligible proportion, the technology is also environmentally friendly because it eliminates foul smell from the piggery units and this minimizes tension with the neighbouring home steads. Generally, pork contains essential nutrients like fats, protein, minerals and vitamins which are vital for human health. The high quality healthy organic pork will be offered at affordable prices, and more so free from unhealthy fats (saturated fatty acids). We believe in making our consumers feel the sweet taste of organic farming. In that, we shall maintain good trust and remove customer’s fear of developing cardiovascular diseases or coronary heart diseases associated with consumption of unhealthy fats (saturated fatty acids). As part of our activities, we shall also be provide training services on request at a fee to farmer groups who may be interested in learning IMO technolgy skills for pig production.
